3) Adding New Users:

The user who creates a new account is the Principal Investigator (PI). The PI can add new users (Lab Accounts). LabWidget has four classes of users with varying permissions and editing capabilities:

Principal Investigator: The PI has complete control over all aspects of the account. The PI can create new users, create new data tables, edit data in existing tables, and restore from archive. There can only be one PI account.

Lab Manager: A Lab Manager account can perform all functions except restore from archive. There can only be one Lab Manager account.

Scientist: Scientist accounts can add new tables, add new data to existing tables, edit existing data. Scientist accounts can’t add new users or delete entire tables, but they can delete individual entries in a table. Multiple scientist accounts are permitted.

Technician: Technician accounts are read-only. Multiple technician accounts are permitted.
